The Scuba Skills Update program is designed for certified divers who wish to refresh and update their skills and knowledge after a period without diving.
It’s a practical and safe session that allows you to regain confidence underwater and ensure that all your techniques are up to date before returning to recreational diving.
This activity is aimed at divers with an Open Water Diver certification or equivalent who haven’t dived for more than 6 months, and it is recommended for higher-level divers after more than one year without diving.
Minimum age: 10 years
Minimum certification: Open Water Diver or equivalent
Active diving insurance (included for this activity with SCUBA MEDIC)
BOE medical questionnaire completed and submitted on the same day of the activity
Practical training session guided by a certified SSI Instructor
Review and execution of basic skills from the Open Water Diver course
Full diving equipment
Daily SCUBA MEDIC insurance
Exploration dive after successfully completing the exercises
Full logistical support from our team
The session is divided into three parts:
1️⃣ Before entering the water:
Briefing, hand signal review, and equipment setup
2️⃣ In the water:
Buoyancy control and safe descent
Regulator and mask clearing
Air sharing and controlled ascent with a buddy
Neutral buoyancy and underwater movement practice
3️⃣ After the dive:
Equipment disassembly and care
Debriefing and Q&A
Any remaining air will be used for a supervised exploration dive.
This activity may be conducted from the beach or from the boat, depending on the PRUG regulations and weather conditions.
The activity is supervised at all times by a certified SSI instructor.
The time selected in your booking is the time you must be at the dock with our team.
