The SSI Science of Diving specialty is a fully theoretical program designed to help you understand the underwater world and all the scientific principles behind diving.
Through a comprehensive and practical approach, you will discover how physics, physiology, decompression, equipment, and the marine environment interact to make every dive possible. This theoretical foundation is essential for diving with knowledge, safety, and confidence.
The course takes place entirely on land and prepares you to take the next step toward professional levels, such as SSI Divemaster or other Extended Range programs.
